Whether you want to explore the 120 acre campus via groomed trails, visit Nantahala National Forest, enjoy a wine whilst seated around one of the riverbank fire pits, or drive the Tail of the Dragon, there is have something for everyone. Each of the cabins at Historic Tapoco Lodge offers different, yet beautiful views of the Cheoah River, Cheoah Bluffs, Meadow Branch, Yellowhammer Creek and the Yellowhammer Mountains.

The beauty of the Smoky Mountains and the river are equaled by this cozy jewel. The food, service, atmosphere, and accommodations were extraordinary and exceeded expectations. The staff were attentive and exuded southern hospitality without being underfoot. We will definitely return.
